One of the most popular aspects of the show is the showbags, which are sold in the showbag pavilion next to the main arena. There are over 350 different showbags available. After extensive consideration the Adelaide show was cancelled for 2020 by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society due to COVID-19, the event this year was to be held from September 4-13th. The show was due to be the 245th Royal Adelaide show, it has been running since 1840.
