Omeo is a town in Victoria, Australia on the Great Alpine Road, east of Mount Hotham, in the Shire of East Gippsland. The name is derived from an Aboriginal word for ‘mountains’ or ‘hills’ The Omeo show is a celebration of the local community agriculture and produce. It takes place at the Omeo recreation reserve, 99 day Avenue Omeo.
The event takes place in mid-November and is packed full of entertainment for families, locals and visitors to enjoy. There is competition, exhibitions, live entertainment, rides, showbags and more.
The show is due to take place on the 15th of November 2020.
